The Book on Periods project is about bringing together diverse stories around our menstrual cycles. From first periods, prenatal, postnatal, hormonal health challenges and working through our last periods. These stories are often not shared or are whispered between friends and then forgotten. The impact is that millions of people suffer silently through health issues like PCOS, endometriosis, pre-menopause feeling like they are the only ones. The reality is that one story can support and empower millions of people and help them feel seen.
In a system where women's health is neglected, our stories are even more powerful.
Why are we writing this book? A message from the founder, Linda Biggs.
